its about 39 inches long

I shouldve made the handle thicker so it would be the size of the width of the cane, but i like it this way. im 6'4" and it fits me perfect

Hey Jim, how does the sweet gum turn? My neighbor has a dead sweet gum and I'm thinking about offering to cut it down for him.

Dan, In my opinion it turns well, just like yeloow poplar, specially if your gouges are sharp.... turns like butter... lame yes but eh.. lol
