no shop time

I won't be getting much shop time in the next week or two. I was helping a friend split some firewood today, and got into an arguement with the wood splitter, and it won. My right middle finger was smashed between the wood and the wedge on the splitter. It split my finger nail and the end of my finger. As well as fractured the small bone. So my finger is swollen, wrapped and very sore.

On the bright side I'm left handed so I can still do the important daily things without to much trouble. until I forget and try to use the right hand and bump my finger, then I yell out a few choice words.

thanks for the kind words, I'm taking the day off work tomorrow, suppose to call the "bone doctor" for a check up, not that there much he will do. The pain is a lot better now until I forget and try to use my right hand or just bump it against something. I mainly want to get it looked at again and make sure everthing is ok, it is still bleeding a little from under the nail.

I am happy it was just my finger. hope to be back to semi normal in a few more days.
