I'm cutting puzzles,does anybody know if photos can be dry mounted to plywood?

I've been involved with the art industry for 20+ years, dry mounting has a specific meaning for me. 

What do you mean by "dry mounting" ?

I haven't heard of anyone using the dry mounting method but I think it would work. Give it a try and let us know how it comes out.

I have used the Xyron machine (Creative station)  to apply permanent adhesive to the back of a photo. OI would also seal both sides of the wood sanded and absolutely clean.

From what I have seen on you tube,there is some kind of dry mount paper that is applied with heat to the back of the picture.

Then it is put in a press and attached to some type of foam board.My question is if anybody knows if it will work on wood.

I did a bit of a search to find out what "Dry Mounting" was. According to what I have found it can be used to mount photo's, posters etc to a number of substrates including ply. Now, how durable it would be on the edges of puzzle pieces that are handled continuously, is another question.

Dry mounting.Just in case anyone is interested in dry mounting,it didnt work.As soon as I started cutting the whole picture lifted off the board.
