Popular Post Jim Finn Posted August 1, 2022 Popular Post Report Posted August 1, 2022 (edited) I have been selling at local farmers market for fourteen years and this year I started selling at a new, to me, Farmers Market. A bit closer to home, same set up costs, but this one runs year-round. This will give me a better chance to sell near Christmas. The first one stopped in October. My sales at this new market are a bit better than at the other. Much better attendance by shoppers. After fifteen sales in 2022 I have been averaging selling eight of my decorative boxes per sale, along with some toys. I also filled an order for Seventy-five smaller boxes with four Texas shaped coasters inside each. (300 coasters!). Sent that order off last week. Keeping me busy. A good thing. kmmcrafts Posted August 2, 2022 Report Posted August 2, 2022 Wondered where you've been.. now I know, cutting 300 coasters, LOL Glad to hear you've found a year round market to sell at.. though year round isn't going to give you much time to build up inventory. Jim Finn 1 Quote
John B Posted August 2, 2022 Report Posted August 2, 2022 Well done Jim. The more regular the markets (and you attend) the better the sales I have found, as people will start to look for your stall. We are a bit short on markets at the moment. Used to have a monthly one, but ......................................................... it's a long story. I do have three over the next few months, including a rodeo, so we'll see how we go. Jim Finn 1 Quote

If I work at it I can make twenty boxes a week, but I am averaging eight sold so...no issue with inventory shortages. danny, Dave Monk, kmmcrafts and 1 other 4 Quote
