This is a companion post to the adjustable height work bench I've posted about. At the same estate sale my wife purchased her loom this broken bobbin winder was in amongst the mountain of fiber art related materials. The first pic shows what we bought (actually it was originally attached to a small wood table which I disassembled and put the stock in inventory) and the second how it was modified into a working unit. It holds bobbins with spring tension.  I think my favorite part was making the locking screw, lower right corner.

It’s always good to have a mechanically inclined person around. Looks like your wife has one. 😉 Fortunately for me, my hubby. Is too.  🙂 I’m sure your wife appreciates all your hard work on both pieces. Your will have to show some of her work.
