Roberta Moreton Posted August 28, 2022 Report Posted August 28, 2022 Depends on the price. It is an older saw. Looks to be quite heavy and well made. I have no experience with it. Are you replacing one? Collecting saws? Take some blades and wood to try it out. OCtoolguy 1 Quote

It's at a local Auction house, Auction (online only) ends on 9-14 and so far there is a 2.00 bid on it however I know it will go up as the end of the Auction nears. New they are 382.00. Not replacing any saw, just thought it would be a good backup saw in case my present saw dies. I can go and test it if I chose. Just wanted to know if it was worth the drive. From the pictures it looks to be in good condition, clean. Plus it comes with a stand. OCtoolguy 1 Quote
OCtoolguy Posted August 28, 2022 Report Posted August 28, 2022 I had one for a short time just to see what it was all about. Everybody raved about the blade clamps. For me, I wasn't impressed but my advice would be, check the clamps and if they look to be in good shape and everything is there. There are no parts available for the clamps so if they are broken or pieces missing I'd not be interested. ChelCass 1 Quote
kmmcrafts Posted August 30, 2022 Report Posted August 30, 2022 You probably wouldn't like the saw.. they are a C arm saw as the upper and lower arm is one piece.. and they cut really quite aggressively, Also as Ray mentioned, the clamps are obsolete as is many other parts.. Could be a great back-up saw if the price is right but... OCtoolguy and ChelCass 2 Quote
