Wichman Posted October 13, 2022 Report Posted October 13, 2022 A villager asked how to install fonts in Inkscape in a different thread. I've started this new thread so as not to clutter up the other one. Typically one does not install a font for a single application, the fonts are installed in the OS ( Operating System ). The OS then handles the fonts when the application asks for them. How to install the fonts will vary depending on which OS is being used and what version of that OS is currently installed on the PC. In order to respond to a question such as this, the OS, version, and any other oddball information needs to be known. For example I am running the latest version of Linux; Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS and Inkscape 1.2.1 . My laptop is fairly old, but still robust enough to run the latest Linux update, still have some issues with Firefox not running some websites (facebook, nextdoor, lumberjocks, credit card sites) Chrome run all the sites just fine, so I assume it's something in Firefox (they fixed the Facebook issue with a recent update).
