My daughter and grandson came this weekend.  We had a great time.  I save up empty spray cans of paint for when he comes.  We line them up and shoot them with a pellet rifle... He is getting pretty good.  Fun to see the can sly around when they are hit... We line them up on an old utility trailer I have.  It is now all different colors. He asked if I could make him a "something" that I had no clue what it was.  So he showed me on the internet, and I made him one.  He did the paint job.  He is a very good kid and I always enjoy having him come.  Brings out the little bit of kid I still have in this old body.  This is the thingy he wanted.

I know he loves spending time with you. I think I was born to be a Pop. I just saw a movie, A Man Called Otto, that I’d recommend to any old codger, like myself.

Charley, we saw it last week. I had to do some soul searching after watching it because I'm too much like him. Before he softened that is. I've become very "sour" over the years. I don't have much regard for most humans at this stage. Especially if they are mean to animals.

That's why I'd recommend it to any old codger, like me. Had an effect on me as well.
