Hawk Posted May 17, 2024 Report Posted May 17, 2024 Congrats on the new hobby, I spent many years in R/C Airplanes. It can be fun and addictive OCtoolguy 1 Quote
Scrappile Posted May 17, 2024 Report Posted May 17, 2024 Yes, That would be great fun.. I would love one with a camera. Then I could not be called a "peeping Tom" but a highly technical Drone flyer. No more cops knocking on my door! Seriously I think they would be great fun. IF i could fly one. My son got into RC planes when he was around 12 year old.. I helped him all I could.. I got the fun of building the planes he flew them. A great father/son hobby.. lead to his career, Navy pilot retired, now Fedex pilot. I enjoyed his career as a pilot more than he enjoyed my efforts building RC planes. However he still flys RC planes also. as a good stable of them but he has to put them together himself now. They are purchased almost built now days, just add the control gear.. OCtoolguy 1 Quote
meflick Posted May 18, 2024 Report Posted May 18, 2024 Jerry, glad to see you doing better after your serious health scare and enjoying your new hobby with the drone. My DH had a bad accident last Fall and was literally off his feet for many months. His accident occurred just before his birthday so we gave him a drone to learn to fly. He, like you, has enjoyed it immensely. OCtoolguy 1 Quote
OCtoolguy Posted May 19, 2024 Report Posted May 19, 2024 (edited) I've always wanted one. Maybe now the price is low enough to be affordable. Edited May 19, 2024 by OCtoolguy Quote
