preprius Posted September 1, 2024 Report Posted September 1, 2024 Since this is not wood works it has to be in the coffee house. I wanted to play with electricity and hatchets. I saw some youtube stuff so I tried it. A friend had an old hatchet, I cleaned it up. He wanted a P51 airplane on it. so I put the clear shelf paper and added a picture he had. I cut the outline and cockpit and wing edges. I kept it simple. Added cotton soaked salt water, passed some 12v though the cotton pads. Lots of pads were used. Clean off tape and picture then sharpened the blade. I am giving it back to him on his 95th birthday tomorrow. I found the same shape of hatchet on internet in museum of hatchets. 1930 or 1940's. here is a screen shot of the international page. jollyred, Dan, OCtoolguy and 1 other 3 1 Quote
OCtoolguy Posted September 2, 2024 Report Posted September 2, 2024 That's cool. How, exactly, does the process work? Quote
