Dan Posted November 7, 2024 Report Posted November 7, 2024 (edited) My wife, the sweet one, is making blueberry pancakes, oatmeal, and Dutch Babies. (Yes, I had to ask her about that last one.) I, being the salty one, am making biscuits and sausage gravy. Coffee, juice and tea are available. There's plenty to go around. I hope everyone has a great day! barb.j.enders Posted November 7, 2024 Report Posted November 7, 2024 Most mornings it is just a cup of coffee, black please! On mornings when the grandkids are over, it is my homemade buttermilk pancakes. Sometimes with chocolate chips! wombatie and OCtoolguy 1 1 Quote

Dak0ta52 Posted November 7, 2024 Report Posted November 7, 2024 While everything you mentioned sounded great, I could really jump into some good sausage gravy and biscuits. While it's not breakfast, I'm doing my first cook on my new Recteq grill this weekend. Every grill I've owned either cooked at a high temp or was impossible to regulate. The Recteq will hold a steady temp between 180 and 700 degrees. Starting with chicken thighs this weekend. This is what they recommend so the chicken fat will help season the grill. Afterwards, it will be ribs, brisket, prime rib, veggies... I'm hungry now!!! barb.j.enders, OCtoolguy and RabidAlien 2 1 Quote

My wife is allergic to many bottle sauces so she spent a few years making her own. It sweet, a little tangy with just the right kick of spices. barb.j.enders, Dak0ta52 and RabidAlien 3 Quote

We do bbq all year long, but our smoking days are probably over until the spring. Dak0ta52 1 Quote
