Travis Posted May 11, 2009 Report Posted May 11, 2009 That looks great. Google Sketchup is a great program. I haven't really played with it in a couple of years. I've been kinda itching to learn it again. I'd imagine there are a lot of new features now. I'm also trying to figure out how to incorporate scroll sawing with it. Maybe mockups of larger designs or something. Awesome for designing furniture and whatnot. Quote
blame Posted May 12, 2009 Author Report Posted May 12, 2009 thanks Travis its been fun playing around with it here acouple shots of the arbor and trunnion design i'd like to use. this program is kinda addicting but will save alot head scratching down the road. including blade and motor, cost of this will run me about $300 to $325 for a 12" Table saw 3 hp single phase depth of cut should be just over 4 1/4" my goal is to try for 5" depends on the table thickness and if i use an insert or not but 5" of blade kinda scares me a bit need to think about a splitting knife and guards as well may need some tweaking yet to get the blade to fully retract below the table but its not finished yet Quote
Vector01 Posted May 12, 2009 Report Posted May 12, 2009 Veeeery Interesting. Something else to add to my arsenal of graphic programs. Quote
