Don't know if it is gone

I had patterns I  changed and did things with.  They are Sierf dpp.  It is completely gone.  It stopped altogether

that Is my files are not able to open or change them.  They won't open.   I was playing with patterns done so I can do it again  in Inscape. A example is Gimp or Inkscape.

if  so How.   I know  nothing about Gimp at all.   Sorry for the strange way I put it. not sure how clear this is.   The world will not fall apart I will do it again or scrape it.

Do you still have Draw Plus installed on your computer?

If so if you right click on it it may ask what to open with and then select draw plus. 

From what I read you export PDF or even maybe svg and then open in Inkscape.

If not Serif owns Affinity Plus which is a paid for.
