i love making my own sausage. fresh is best. there is so much stuff put into sausage now days. i started making my own a year ago. i usually buy pork butts and make 25# batches. a buddy killed 2 small hogs off his lease and gave them too me. so last couple days been butchering stuffing and first batch will come off soon. we really need smell-a-vision. this is a german sausage with 10 hours hickory smoke

well if you like that you need to see the fish i catch. living 15 miles from trinity bay i have a freezer full of flounder, reds , and catfish, crappie

We need to start a Trade-a-Trip for fishing. I have a camp in central WV where we go to Stonewall Jackson, Stonecoal lakes a lot during the spring and summer. Mostly for crappie, but I love to catfish also. Every once and awhile you get into some yellow perch and walleye and the occasional musky. Steve

first does your state allow jug fishing the way texas does? 2nd if they do have you ever jug fish. we do it and have web sites i belong to and it is nothing for us to catch 50 to 100 fish a day. we call them freezer runs. target mostly eaters 2-5 pounders but biggest i have caught was a 50# op and a 65# blue

Hi 'Gator/Thomas"

My godfather was named Sauer-- his sausage was the best I have ever eaten.

He hand chipped hardwood fells on the  Des Lacs River where he lived, for his smoking wood. He was very fussy about which ones too. He bought old  outhouses at farm auctions and just re-modeled them for his smoking houses. His story can be found at this link--http://www.loti.com/search/search.pl?Match=0&Realm=All&Terms=roggenbuck----- look for Fred's sausage.

YOU MADE ME HUNGRY!

If your sausage is as good as his; I bet the neighbors get hungry just  from the smell when you are frying it up!
