Tiger/Zebra pen

Hi All .

              I thought I'd pop this one on for you to see, a friend of mine just finished building his kitchen with either tiger wood or zebra wood for worktops he didn't have a clue which and gave me some off cuts.

 

So I thought I'd make him a slimline pen and guess what can't find my kits in the workshop, so I had a couple of bic pens handy and made this instead, hope he likes it.

What do you think?

Very nice Roly, I've made a few of those Bic pens myself - did you remember to drill a small hole in the side near the top of the pen to let the air in? I didn't on the first few I made and the ink tends to airlock about a third of the way down.

Thanks for the info Keith never done that before you have a point about air being trapped how small a hole surely you'll see it.
