Have to download to see pattern/picture

Hi All:

Question for you:

When I open the folder whether it be bragging rights or new pattern or whatever

I have to download the file in order to view it - Not all the time but a lot

It wasn't like that before

I was able to view the pattern without having to download

Is it one of my settings - because if it is I have no clue which one it is

Is it the way it's being posted? I don't see anything different there by anyone

Can someone please shed some light on this for me

Yep, I think it is the way they were posted,

Paul it appears that it's due to the format that it is uploaded in SVG, and PDF have to be downloaded whereas Jpeg and such can open right on the page and then copied and pasted to your computer or at least thats the way i do it from the forum. From the gallery or library i'm not sure as it's been a while since i downloaded from there. Hope this helps. By the way if i'm saving in inkscape i try to save as a PNG file then change it in gimp to JPEG because theres no JPEG in inkscape.

Yep Sully's hit on the nail.

 

I convert mine to JPEG there's loads of freebie software to convert files but I use PHOTOSHOP a bit expensive.
