OutoftheWoodwork Posted August 30, 2013 Report Posted August 30, 2013 Been busy these last weeks; haven't been here, or any of my forums. Actually got to make some sawdust last weekend, but I need to go back and finish the project. (It's a photo frame in the shape of Michigan with items from Sleeping Bear Dunes shoreline as accents & "Sleeping Bear Dunes 2013" routed on it with a star marking its' place on the frame.) My daughter went there for her vacation this year with her boyfriend and our grandson (and Bear, her dog as well). Last weekend I also got my birthday present from Ken (a week early); an acoustic guitar. Always wanted to play, now I can sit and strum. I figured I played violin and cello, I should be able to figure out the guitar, right? wombatie and Travis 2 Quote
heppnerguy Posted August 31, 2013 Report Posted August 31, 2013 I'm sure you will be strumming singing and probably writing your own songs before very long. Have fun with it. And Happy Birthday OutoftheWoodwork 1 Quote
Phantom Scroller Posted August 31, 2013 Report Posted August 31, 2013 Barb it seems there's always months of the year when other things that have to be done, such as house work and garden like now I hardly have time in the workshop and I'm painting it to get ready for winter and just fit a security alarm in it, so I hope to get back to scrolling soon. Stay safe & God bless. Roly Quote

wombatie Posted September 1, 2013 Report Posted September 1, 2013 As long as you don't stick the guitar under your chin I can't see why you will not be able to master it. We are always here when you get chance to pop in. Take care. Marg OutoftheWoodwork 1 Quote
