keefie Posted October 10, 2013 Report Posted October 10, 2013 (edited) In a recent post I mentioned I had to make 50 trinket boxes in Yew for the Wheal Jane Mine, I finished the first 10 today and called the mine to see if they could collect them while I carried on making more for them as they had completely sold out. Phillipa said she will come out today or tomorrow to collect them, then said I haven't put up my prices in years from the £10 per box we originally aggreed on. Then added that as the price of wood has gone up as has the electric to power the tools to make them why dont I charge them £15 per box to cover it. So I'll now get £150 instead of £100 for the 10 boxes I have made. It will be a nice little profit now on the 50 boxes. Normally the 50 would bring in £500 but now it's going to bring me in £750.00 - new dust extractor coming soon lol. Pictures of a box are attatched, with the insert the mine uses just laid in the lid. Keefie Edited October 10, 2013 by keefie gunnerb47, Travis and bobscroll 3 Quote
