wombatie Posted November 7, 2013 Report Posted November 7, 2013 I know some of you use 50/50 BLO, so when it is dry, do you spray on the clear polyurethane or do you brush it on. Which do you prefer? Thanks for your help. Marg Quote

Travis Posted November 7, 2013 Report Posted November 7, 2013 I spray too. I usually like using an acrylic spray. I think Krylon makes it, but I could be wrong. The acrylic smells a lot less. Quote
wombatie Posted November 8, 2013 Author Report Posted November 8, 2013 Can't get Krylon any more near where I live, got some once and it was great stuff. Marg Quote

LarryEA Posted November 9, 2013 Report Posted November 9, 2013 (edited) 50/50 BLO is 1/2 & 1/2 Boiled Linseed oil and mineral spirits -- be my definition Wal Mart should have lots of Krylon... at least the one I am near does.. Edited November 9, 2013 by LarryEA wombatie 1 Quote
wombatie Posted November 10, 2013 Author Report Posted November 10, 2013 Larry I am in Australia so I am no where near a Wal Mart. Thanks any way. Marg Quote
Jim Finn Posted November 10, 2013 Report Posted November 10, 2013 I have used the Krylon clear finish and like it . I now use Rustolium <sp> clear enamel finish which is also an acrylic spray It cost ten cents more per rattle can but the spay nozzle works a lot better than the one on Krylon cans, (In my opinion).
