It's Friday!!

Happy weekend everybody.  Coffee is still fresh, tea water hot and hot chocolate ready with little marshmallows. Cold but dry day so far. 

 

Went to Bingo last night and there wasn't any due to the icy conditions in the parking lot.   Would have been nice if someone had called me....................went to Fish and Hunt to see if they carried car batteries or just marine.  Well they only have Marine and when I went out to restart my car it refused..................Dang!  fortunately the gas station was just next door.  They had a battery and there was a very nice young man in the station who volunteered to replace the battery for me.............what a sweetie he was.   Did you know that they are starting to put the batteries in the truck and under the backseat?  I had to get the owners manual out to find out my cars battery is under the backseat.  Weird!!!!!  The car started with no problem this morning but now the garage door opener doesn't want to open the door.................. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !  Sigh!

It's that time of year when car starting becomes an issue. You should get a good set of jumper cables and keep them in the car until April.

 

On my walk this morning I saw the City decided to begin flooding the hockey rink. We'll be able to skate again soon.

 

I had garage door opener problems a couple months ago. It was the darndest thing. I was sure it was the batteries so I replaced them but it didn't help. I unplugged the unit (trying to re-boot?). No luck. Tried re-programing it and that finally got it working. What would cause the program to fail?

 

I think I'm going to clear the deck of snow so we can grill brat this weekend.

Thanks for the coffee Judy, but I've had more than my share already. Glad to hear your up and running again. Yes it is always nice to have someone lend a hand in this cold weather. Sorry to hear about your garage door not opening. I've never had that problem, but then I've never had a garage either.

We're in a real deep freeze up here which is expected to last for another week or more. Oh, well only another four months before spring arrives.
