The acrylic paint I use if water based so I use water to thin it down.  Mainly you don't want to have your paint so thick it clogs the sprayer.  Several thin coats is better then one thicker one.

Judy do you get a nice even spray using water and what amount do you add to the acrylic as I use water based as well is the consistency OK.

Hi, Roly,

You should have received a tester with your air-brush to check the consistency of the paint.

Like Kevin said, about the thickness of milk. In the tester, you want the paint to drip out of the nozzle rather than running

through it.

Good luck and God Bless! Spirithorse

Thanks but no tester with this kit that's the UK for ya .

It's what people use to thin the paint I was looking for as the named brands are expensive and it appears most people only use water only.

Thanks for info and God Bless
