This is the first in a series of 2 that I intend to donate to the "Riding for the Disabled Association" where I do volunteer work with the children which I find very fulfilling. The first picture is of the Pony after cutting out & the frame is 10'' x 8'' ,this time I used a No3 blade for the finer details. Learning all the time.

Cheers Peter    P.S want to swap climate with me for a while We have had a week of 40 + temperatures here ,Cool change       tomorrow only 38

Thanks Pete I've never heard of Penatrol before so I Googled it, looks like it has a few uses but difficult to find in UK, I'll have a serious search for some to try it out thanks for the info.

these are beautiful and beautifully done .Love the before and after pictures.A yes penatrol.i worked for a cabinet maker and he had me strip doors ,sand ,prime  and paint with a brush  with penatrol in the paint ,oil base. i came in the next day and looked at the doors and my heart was broke .i asked him who repainted the doors .he said nobody just you.But the finish was like glass.i can't paint like that .he said it was the penatrol that made the paint flow out like that and taunt.SOLD me on it !your painting reflect just what im talking about :)

Peter,

An excellent project you have done and even better is what you are going to do with it. congratulations to you for the great accomplishment. It will be loved with the kids you are helping, and anyone else that is lucky enough to have the opportunity to view it. Be careful, people will keep you busy just building copies of this one ;)
