Well Roly and Wombatie, still on the subject of grand kids. We were guests at a wedding, quite a fancy affair, so we decided to get the little one appropriately dressed for the occasion. Unfortunately we spent so much money on the fancy WAISTCOAT we couldn't afford SOCKS and SHOES. So, Roly, watch out if your little Princess gets a wedding invite.     post-22184-0-40787400-1395227797_thumb.jpg

Grandkids are the greatest compensation you can have for getting old.  I see you and Roly are as excited and enjoying them as much as most all of us seniors enjoy ours.  With grandkids you relearn what unconditional love is and how young minds work and grow.

.

Couldn't agree with you more Doug. A whole lot of things that were forgotten years ago are coming back, and it's great fun.

All of this talk of the wonder of grandchildren prompts me to share three pieces I find especially useful reminders to keep my priorities in order.  The first is a child speaking of her mother but applies to all adult - child relationships.  They can be found at the following websites if you are interested

He is adorable.  I love my grandkids to bits.  Liam is 11 and off to Secondry College next year and Holly will be 9 in a couple of months.  Both are bronzed Aussies at the moment from spending so much time in the pool.  How about a photo Roly of the lovely princess?

Roly

She is awesome.  Starting out with all sorts of warning labels on each side of her, she will be a natural to be at your side working with saws and other shop equipment.

Yea Doug can't wait to have her scrollin' lol  but a few years to go yet. thanks she's gorgeous. Roly
