Need a certain font

HELP!!!

Does anyone happen to know the name of this font and where I can get it? I have a friend that wants a sign made with this font.

That would be great if you happen to have it. This font is in his logo and unfortunately could not get in touch with the company that made the logo (out of business, I guess), so I am just starting to get frantic! I hate to let him down as a friend.

I looked through my collection at work and didn't see anything like it. Sorry I couldn't help you out more. Do you just need the words Ranch? You could use Inksape and use the autotrace if you have a nice scan of the logo. You can find that tutorial here.

 

If you wanted to do some legwork, you can check the free font sites. My favorite right now is DaFont.com. You can also check the wiki for a list of font sites too.
