Hello folks. Another tale of crass stupidity. 

Many years ago when I was a couple of years younger and dafter, we had an old vestibule door which needed replacing. I got the guys in the workshop to fabricate one for me. Two stiles and a top and bottom rail. The bottom rail had a letter box cut in it as the center of the door was a solid sheet of glass. So far so good. Door finished and  hung, no glass yet. I was about to prepare the door for the locks and handles, when the good lady asked if I had seen the postman. "Why I asked her, what has the postman got to do with the door." Well she replied, "he'll need to be six feet tall to reach that £$*^%$** letterbox." OH  DEAR door on upside down, letter box at the top. Unbeknown to me the lads in the shop had cut the opening for the letterbox out with the jigsaw and taped it back in place and I never noticed. So hence the 6 P's

Proper Preparation Prevents P*ss Poor Performance.       .

Reminds me of the time I bought a new pair of shoes.  A black pair.

The sign said: Buy one pair get the second pair for 1/2 price.

So I bought a second pair of brown shoes identical to the black pair.

Got up the next morning to go to work. Did not want to wake the wife

so I got dressed in the dark.

When I got to work I noticed I was wearing one black and one brown shoe.

 

But you knew that... didn't you?

The University of HARD KNOCKS ,Only gives out BLUSHES ,Bruises and Scars ,you can't put them on the wall ,YOU WEAR THEM , I have my,B.S.(Bull S%#@ ) ,my M.S. (more same) I'M going for my phd. (piled higher and deeper) My Theasis is on Grammar ,Eticate ,Spelling ,and things I can't remember ,graduation , will be held (UP YONDER) But what an EDUCATION !! Student loans have been paid daily !

Hi Carl, you're quite right about the hard knocks. I'm wearing the full kit I think. Still got all my fingers though.

See I told you we went to different schools together at different times ,I too have a masters degree in Reverse Engineering and  modification and a minor in instinctive reasoning ,and a total dislike for political correctness .

 

You always were in the top of your class in advance studies !! Me too on the fingers and toes !!
