I'm not sure but I think its a beer bottle / can tote, is that right? If it is, its a good idea and you did a terrific job, also in working out a solution to your problem too.

You are a brilliant salesman, get the kids interested and mum and dad are obliged to buy one just to keep little Jane / Jimmy quite, sounds good to me. Like Version 3, getting better and better all the time.

Get the DeWalt while you have the chance, you can always get the EX later when you have done more scrolling. Get the experience behind you and then you will know what size you need.

Hi Cindy, welcome to the Village. I'm Marg from Australia. You are not having much luck with scroll saws are you? I wish you all the best with your next one because like the saying goes, third time lucky. Come on down to the coffee shop for breakfast (That lasts all day) and have a few laughs. If you have any scrolling questions you will always get an answer that will help you.

Kevin I have been scrolling for about 15 years and I have only ever worn one saw out and that took me 5 years to do. I have my DeWalt 10 and the Ex21 about 4. Latest work looks great.

Welcome to the Village Patrick. I'm Marg from Australia. Just remember scrolling is supposed to be fun if its not stop and take a break it will soon be fun again. One thing to remember when scrolling is to relax especially your shoulders.

Its not retirement that is the problem because I am already retired. Its the time I have had that many orders this year that I no sooner finish one when I get another one to start. I have not had time to do the other things on my to do list this year. But hopefully next year will be the year I do it.

That is a beautiful story. I am just sorry that his other work is lost. The other photo of your father scrolling is intriguing, the scrolled items on the board, were they scrolled by your father or grandfather? I love the moon, top left.
