  15. Unless you are printing color pictures a lot you will go broke getting ink for a inkjet printer especially over time. If you are like me however and generally only print text and patterns then I purchased a HP Laser Jet printer - just the printer not a multifunction one. Sure the cartridges for it cost around $80 but they last a LONG time. I have had the printer I am using now since 2000 and have replaced the cartridge perhaps 15 times in the life of the printer so far. How often do you have to replace the ink cartridges in the inkjet? Personally if I need a color image I save it to a usb stick take it to Kinkos and print it off. I only print generally text and patterns on my printer. The Laser printer has an added advantage, what I print on them is waterproof. This is just my opinion of course DW

  22. Excellently done Randy. I like those boxes. The one with the multiple lines looks like it might be perhaps sugar pine but that is hard to tell from just a picture. Thanks for sharing these with us. DW

  24. Marg, it is VERY soft and not very dense. It cuts easily sands easily takes a finish ok but it can dent easily as well. If you are planning something intricate then you might wish to go from Balsa to Basswood. It quite a bit stronger than Balsa. DW
  25. Helmut the pattern you are looking for is a Sue May pattern called Family Roots and it can be found at this address - http://www.scrollsawartist.com/family-roots.html I believe that this is the one you are looking for. DW
