  1. Just passing along a good idea. I use White Owl cigar holders to keep my blades in. They come in a variety of colors, they have a lid and they are the perfect size. My saw has the built in spces for the blades and the cigar cases fit right in.

Finished as far as I am concerned. I need a class on matting and framing.
  4. This is the first project I cut with my new saw. I believe it was Clayton who posted the pattern. It is done on one inch cedar . I still need to sand and finish it.[attachment=0]103_0811.JPG
  5. Thanks Travis for taking the time to do the tutorials.. Can't wait for the third one.
  6. Great job. Where do you find the wood ? Beautiful !!!
  7. Hi folks. For those of you that don't have the built in lamp on your saw, try using a clamp on reading lamp with the flexible neck. I also bought the foot control , haven't even hooked it up yet. After reading this subject line, I think I will send it back.
  8. Welcome. Great work. I love your idea on making it mobile. As for your legs hurting from all of the standing, try setting on a bar stool, works great.
  9. Beautiful work. I hope to be a talented some day.
  10. Thanks to all of you. Christine you do some excellent work !!! Just got the new saw today. I am so excited I am shaking all over. I have to wait for my better half to get home and set it up because it is so heavy I can't lift it. This is just the best sight !!! I have been working on the Inkscape with the resizing,,,, great program. I have already spent hours on here just in awe.
  11. Hi all. I am 42 years young from West (by God) Virginia. When I was a young'n my dad would keep me occupied in his shop making things with a coping saw. I have been interested in scrolling for years but never had the time to try it. Well I finally found time and I am hooked !! I am just learning so I am sure everybody can help me in some way. I just found this site this morning and it is great!!! I am looking forward to meeting people and learning all there is to learn. I just ordered an excalibur, any suggestions or tricks. I have been using a hitachi that takes pinned end blades,,,frustrating is all I can say. Hope to hear from all of you out there in scroller land. Later. shelayla
