Hello, I just got back into scroll sawing after a 10 year pause.
I started out with a 3" pin Craftsman scroll saw back in the mid 90's, but due to relocation, I had decided to put my scroll saw hobby on hold.
For quite some time, I had wanted to get back into scroll sawing; although I now live in a condo where space is limitted, I thought what the heck and with my wife's encouragement I purchased a new scroll saw just a few weeks ago.
I now have a great scroll saw ,it is a (Dewalt 788) and it is setting inside my condo that I use on a regular basis.....the dust isn't too bad and it is so quiet and vibration free compared to that craftsman....smile!
The old craftsman 3" pin scroll that gave me much enjoyment, well I gave that to a co-worker who will now share the art of scroll sawing with his 14 year old son.
As a closing note....I just want to say I am looking forward to reading all the information and helpful hints that all of the readers offer at this site. My goal is also to offer insight and new ideas and methods as my scroll saw skills improve; of couse this will only occur after I get the 10 year rust off of my fingertips....smile
To all involved, I thank you for this web site that I will now call home..... Edster
