  1. I bought a lifter a couple years ago and i like it, use to use a stick to hold the arm up, until I got the lifter. edward

This was a free pattern from Karl Taylor, and I ran into a problem, which I would hate to destroy, He said these words were for an overlay, which he never said, and my problem is the os and the I won't work, now does anyone have any sugestions, how I can do this without the letters falling out. Hopefully the picture shows up. Thanks edward
  4. Looking for information on show setups, would like to change mine for the upcoming season. I currently have three tables one 6' and 2-2' tables, usually setup in u shape, and no room to display portraits, and my wife would like to display scarfs that she made, if anyone has any ideas , would like to know, thanks edward
  5. Finished this word portrait today, done on 1/4" oak, with black felt backing, I thought it really came out good, with oak frame. Thanks Russell for the pattern, was really nice to cut. edward

  8. Sorry about your show, been there done that, my last show was like that your display looks great, the only thing that I can see is that things shouldn't be sitting on containers on the floor, should be eye level, learn that from other vendors. edward

  11. I know the feeling on craft shows, I did one on Saturday, and there were a lot of people there, and I was the only scroller, but plenty of woodworkers. Sales weren't great but at least I made over the table fees. At slow times I would walk and see how other people were doing, some were good and some weren't. I sat there three hours before anyone bought a thing, plenty of lookers and walk on byers. Gotta take the good with the bad. edward

  13. Mrs N I have those paints and there are safe, what I am looking for is in a spray can non toxic, all I have see so far is toxic. edward

  18. When I open Apache open office 3 there are two columns, text document, spread sheet, presentation,open, drawing, database, formula, and templates, I would guess this is the right one. Didn't see anything like what you posted. hope this helps. edward

  25. Tried filling the gap with cuttings of sawdust and glue, didn't really care for the outcome, Thanks for the comments. edward
