  1. Thanks for all the great comments. Now I have a couple more that the wife wants me to cut so I will be busy for a while, because I do not get to spend a lot of time in the shop with work and everything else going on. Once again I really appreciate all the great comments. Have a great day.......Mark
  2. Here is 2 that the wife was wanting me to cut. Both patterns was purchased from The Wooden Teddy Bear. The schnauzer is 1/16 thick BB ply and is 8" x 10". The welcome sign is about 10" x 15" and is made from .75" thick pine and then the wife did the painting. The schnauzer has no finish at all on it. The wife liked the way it looked just cut and sanded so if she likes it I like it. Thanks for looking, have a great day. Mark
  3. Winchester, Ohio It is about 50 miles east of Cincinnati
  4. Thanks for all the great comments. The tree is 11" tall and 8" wide. Everyone have a very Merry Christmas.....Mark
  5. I finally got my shop set up and had a chance to do some scrolling. Just finished the Christmas Tree for the wife. The pattern was in the Scroll Saw magazine a few issues ago. The wife seen it and wanted one cut so I gave it a try. It is made form 1/4 inch thick cherry and finished with a 50 percent mixture of boiled linseed oil and mineral sprits. Then has 2 coats of poly. Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas. Thanks for looking. Mark
  6. Did not realize this could be done. Thanks for letting us know. The information and the help of all the great people here is worth a lot more then 10 dollars. Thanks to everyone that makes this such a great place....Mark
  7. Thanks for all the wonderful comments. This is such a great place to learn. There is no way I could have made something like this if I did not have all the great ideas and help from this place. Thanks so much to everybody here that helps out other people so much....Mark
  8. I started this horse shelf for my wife back in April but do to family situations I was not able to be in the shop any all spring and summer. I finally got to get back to the shop a couple of weeks ago. This is a pattern purchased from the Wooden Teddy Bear. This has been the hardest project I have done. It is made out of 3/4 inch oak and stained with golden oak with 5 coats of spray poly. There is some mistakes in it put I was pleased with the way it turned out. The wife really likes it so that is what counts. Thanks for looking....Mark
  9. Thanks for all the great comments. I see all the flows in the things I cut and never think they are very good compared to some of the great art work I see on here. Once again thanks for the great patterns all the great comments.....Mark
  10. Here are the pictures of the patterns that Mahendra and Bob made for me to make for my parents 60th wedding anniversary. Thanks for much for the great patterns. I will be giving them to them on Saturday at a open house we are having for them. I am not the best cutter but hopefully they will like them. The standup is made out of poplar and stained with golden oak and sprayed with poly and the plaque is made out of 1/4" birch plywood with a 1/4" back with construction paper in between and stained with golden oak. Once again thanks for the patterns.....Mark

    Hello All

New here. I am Mark from southern Ohio. I have only been scrolling for little over a year so I am not very good. I have not been real active on the other site but I sure learned a lot from all the great people there. Hopefully I will get good enough to have some input someday. I am going to try and be more active in this site. Look forward to making a lot of good friends. Mark
