Hi there;
I usually replace my blades when I have to use to much pressure pushing the wood through. At that point I will take the blade out and physically examine it and, lo and behold, the teeth are worn down. If I'm doing intricate cuts on stacked wood, I may replace more often just so the pressure I exert won't mess up the bottom piece. Hope this helps.

Congratulations on the Excaliber. I'm still using the old Ex 24 and love it. I just had the bearings replaced in it and had the upper blade clamp worked on. Considering how old it is and the amount of work it's done, it doesn't owe me a thing.
You won't regret it,
Al
Thanks for your response. I've already checked out Seyco but they couldn't be of any help. I will look into the owm site and see what they have.
Thanks again,
Al
Hi all;
Does anyone know where I could get parts for my old Excaliber 24? I know it's obsolete but it's still a great saw and I would think some company would still have parts for it.
Thanks,
Al
