I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions on the types of wood for a chess set I am doing.

I am using a reverse tooth blade.

Hello everybody I was wondering if anyone knew how to set the saw to remove a burr on the top of the wood! Its weird I know but it is happening and causing a lot of wasted time carefully removing a burr that shouldn't be there. The blade is in the right way and everything else seems to be correct. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
