Thanks DW,The clock was really trying but i got it.Makes for a nice show piece when all prettyed up!Routed edges and top coat plus sanding.

Got warmed up and hit the saw today,rare one for me lately.Somebody inspired me to go after life with a purpose,so i did,lol This took my biggest scrap of walnut and my thickest board of cedar.I also after years of owning a new 13.5" ryobe planner fired it up to plan both pieces of wood,i was amazed!I down loaded jewish clock faces many many times to get just the right one and then off to the rapid resizer to again resize it to fit the clock i want to use.I used a scroll reverse #12 for the walnut and thick cedar,both ended up 1 or more" thick.The clock face plastic has a crack in it which i forgot about ,oh well .that's me just get the job done ,forget about details,lolThis will be one of two types of star of david clocks i'm going to do,so stay tuned,don't change that dial.The clock was a dollar the blade 30 cents the wood free the planner $100.00.I only wasted 10 sheets of copy paper to get this over with,no big deal.

Finished 4 CROSSES ORDERED A WHILE AGO,he already got the first of five.3/4 plywood project.Then a cedar cross i had fell and exploded so i made a mini something out of the good parts.i tryed clear brushing on polyurathane,maybe a no no for cedar .i try not to get into staining and painting and sanding,but maybe i should start.Made friends with the 67 year old gorgous crossing guard lady and will give her name, heather to her monday.The heather name is photo copyied and doesn't look good at all,.drowned out look.the real one was hand painted and was the talk of the town nice..Guess you lose alot copying things?Today i cut everything with a #1 scroll reverse.blade

Enjoyable nifty set to occupy the wee ones minds.A real twist on puzzles.I'm afraid the trunks would be quite fragile assembling and disassembling in pine. Better to be a curio on a shelve than an amusing toy for children. But i love it!

Toys for big boys,lol Cheap Bandsaws are just that,a table saw is much better than the mini band saws.The 36" belt sander from harbor freight saved me lots of hand sanding but cheaply made and it broke soon.Ridged has great warranties.

Thank you Frankorona It's a sharp looking piece when the rest is added to it ,6 yellow rope and 6 flouresant green tennis balls! I send a picture when he puts it outside for the club!
