I don't know if they make one ,but on these portraits there are alot of teny tiny holes,and if there was a roto zip plunge type drill press set up it would save alot of time threading blades and such.the roto zip would have to lock down so you could steer with both hands and then unlock for the next hole. sounds safe and feezable to me.Maybe i'll concoct one an give it a shot.With the high speeds a roto zip abtains it should leave the work piece sand and burr free.Kind of cheating to do scrolling ,but what ever gets the check and saves time sounds good to me ,I don't know if the bits are small enough but dremil has 1/8 shank taperd down to about nothing .Maybe this is a better mouse trap of an idea.Edison had an uidea and tryed thousands of ways to make a light .this sounds alot simpler to me.i see one of the companys that sends me mail has a simaler idea to drill holes in wood thats small and light and very manuverable.I is a much needed item for the kind of work that has to be done .when i remember who has that one i post it.Iv'e done portraites in oilsw/brush and with an airbrush so i'm interested in trying to scroll one .Sir your first scrolled portait is DYNOMITE i like it .looks proffesional.

I've tryed them a very few times with bad results.On the delta with quick release they did good ,but on saws with thumb screw blade tighteners i have problems with the blade walking out before it's snug .I have enough problems with this new saw, dremil that an added problem is another coal in the fire for disgust.I see a great advantage with them for the portrats and scencery.One day i'll try again as i have build up a variety of them from multi packs before i found mike's.Being spiral shaped ,leads me to think that they are springy,so tention would vary a lot as you cut fast or slow .I guess thats the sweet spot your looking for.Glad i found the village as many many answers are answerd here just by browsing .this blog is very old but the info is new and very much needed for me thank you much everybody

Daytime ,nite time ,graveyard shift time.anytime.I'll make time to go to this one.The words used ,are what keeps me or breaks me from chat rooms .Looks like travis has good club standards that i approve of highly .If the same rules applie as for our club it will be an honar to have a seat at.all i favor iiiiiii.The amatuer radio club i use't to belong to was more of a party party place than shop talk,Really reminded me of cb radio which is very low on my scale.the telescope club i was in was a little better but the hours didn't work for the working class.the outings were so far away too.This village thing should sounds tempting.i give it my best shot!

my friend in town with a large airbrush studio told me as long as it's differant by 10% or more it's ok .Just changeing the color would be 10%.A purple micky mouse ? I think disney will call you.Lot's of maybe's .Do we have a copywrite lawyer in the club?I'm still in the dark about it.

Nice job,what grits sandpaper did you use start to finish.Did you polish it also on a wheel or hand rub.Where can a ring sizer be had.Are most woods good for rings.A custumer gave me a piece of zebra ,now i know what to do with it ,THANKS

what no chat room i think i would live there .Where's it at.I am dieing to talk to someone with scroll saw interests.Are females going to be there .Once they get going they sound like alot of chickens talking all at once.The more the merrier.
