Not sure myself but most saws are adjustable to compensate.I did it to mine ,and now is fine.

Welcome rachael.The more creature comforts you have on your scroll the more you'll love it.I would say the 500 dollar ones and up would treat you kindly.I've used the 200 and less one s for years and had a ball every day,when i got a nice saw i wonderd how i put up with all the rest.lolThanks for joining

Yes good advice from some of our members here.You'll be right at home and int he drivers seat of that scroll saw .everyday you will learn something new .Keep your blade very tight and check offen to make sure it's still tight or else i breaks quit quicklyThanks for joining!
