Yesterday i made the y'am sew happy .today she wants her name and I'm sew happy in letters! 3/4Plywood white satin enamel rattle can spray and then i spent some time finding things in the shop ,organizing some more and sorted out the spray cans and cleaned all the tips to old empty spray cans i save for emergencys,I soak in acetone & mineral spirits

Plywood that's been wet falls apart when cut ,i get free wood from the dumpsters and cabinet shops ,bulk pick up ,friends etc.3/4 " plywood will slow down your cutting speed so its a good thing to practice on .thin woods 3/8 1/4 and 1/8 cut very fast so slow your machine down and cut slow while holding the wood down to keep total control of where the blade cuts.you'll fond that one of your fingers acts as a pivot point for all your turns,etc.Fir woods are very soft and fragile .I don't like using them because of breakage.hope this helps!

"Grease monkey Redneck" one of our members deplores using a laser for any scroll saw operation,especially to drill a hole.Personally i love anything that will save me time and frustration scrolling .The foot switch has been the best thing i ever got for the scroll saw.Guess i'll have to get an ex to try this one,thanks

  19. It was quick but getting the correct angle was tough on the scroll saw ,i just eyeballed it and got close and glued an pin nailed it ...out the door!

Daily sales is needed bad ,The steering in my car is so bad a year ago pulling to the left i blew a tire put on one i had ,but the wrong size ,too small and my car drove straight and still does.Now time has took it's toll and i hear clunking sounds under the car in the steering .Not going to be cheap .$100.right off the bat just for the tire and then parts labor and alignment,they'll get me soon.

  24. Just you hold your horses Roly,Stock up on wood and blades so you can really have a ball when the time comes!I bought blades 2 years ago and still have some left!
