I take it there all different?Boy i bet that's scarey cutting something that thin.I'd be interested in trying it nce. What could something like this sell for,and what are the dimensions out of curiousity, very clean cutting skills here DAN
  13. My friend just came back i think from there. It'a a real big one he says .He expected to come back with a pocket full and barely made it home .Everybody loved his work ,all types of american flags in white pine and aromatic cedar .I cut all the stars for him 3/4" and 1/2".,hundreds and hundreds of stars, lol
  14. I wonder who sells this pattern?
  15. Somebody let the cat out of the bag!LOL
  16. I've wore out a dozen saws ,chinese and craftsman. Now i'm sold on dewalts.I've wore one of them out and the second one too but i keep the second one limping just fine with regreaseing the whole machinre where i can and replace one broken bolt.Quite as a kitten and tight as a drum.I have a brand new dewalt for back up but it's a type 2, never try one.I do an extreme amount of scrolling and mostly 3/4" plywood.
  17. I quit smokeing 28 years ago cold turkey ,best thing i ever did and stupidest thing i ever started.
  18. Kelly you don't let anything stop you from scrolling, lol If you have too use the wrong blades slow the speed way down,
  19. This will be a first for you Marge, not cutting some fretwork with zillions of holes. It ok to slow down!
  20. depending on the size ,thickness of wood is what will determine the right puzzle blade for you.I 3/4 wood a #5or#7 will work .for very young kids a little bigger so the pieces go together with out struggeling.on 1/4" wood any #2 blade should work for you .Doing puzzles you need to make absolute sure the blade is square to the table .Other wise the puzzle pieces won't come apart or go together. If you don't have a square small enough 2" is perfect use a index card 2" x 2"or a credit card or a business card will work for you.put the square next to the blade to check for being plumb.
  21. So you stock aged cedar ,great! next time i stop up hood river way to pick pears i'll have to wheel an deal some of it from you,lol Thanks RALPH!

  23. Brand new talent is exciting to see bloom,A real self starter ,nothing holding her back now !This will be the one to watch!Looks like little hands got in the act too with quality artistic trates polishing up MOM's work fabulously.I'm going to have to click my machine up a notch to catch up with her at this rate. More competition in the name game i see!Looks like i've no chance as it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks.KELLY get a blue ribbon for her first project done flawlessly done. This girl does not know the meaning of firewood, lol Well lit me step to the side and let the younger set pass me up .good job Kelly keep them coming!THANKS FOR JOINING!You've really added life to SSV.
