  1. Polo IL here.
  2. Congrats on your first craft show and profit. Keep up the good work and you will have sawdust up to your ....... I find everyshow different and what I sell at one show does not sell the same at the next show. So good luck and keep on scrolling. Mick
  3. I also use the Flying Dutchman Blades and I would not look around for a better blade. I use them almost everyday in all types of wood. Just my 2 cents!!!! Mick
  4. I just had a problem with my 788 fuse went out and I put a new one in. I don't know what happened. Still didn't work after new fuse. Checked wire from plug in,checked wire from switch back good. Ordered new board. Put new board and brushes in and it worked. I have used this saw for 12 years and this is the second time I have done anything to it. First time new switch. It would turn on at anytime. If you use your saw for custom orders I would pick up some spare parts. Most of the time you will not get anything in two days. I could have shipped the board from sears in two days for 54 dollars shipping. I did order it from Dewalt and it came in after 10 days. 1. fuse 2. switch 3. Brushes Should cost you under 20 dollars for all of them. Shipping will cost you the most!!!! So in the time that it took for me to get the parts I bought a new 788 type 2. If I didn't have the saw I would have missed out on about 500 dollars in sales so it paid for the new saw. So now I will always have a running 788 and enjoy using them everyday. Michael
  5. Thanks for your help. I will post when I get some done.. Michael
  6. What kind of finish wood you put on a puzzle for a child. I am making some puzzles out of popular and I was wondering what a safe finish would be. Thanks Michael stang67

  8. I just set up my website on vistaprint and also had them do my business cards. They have a great selection of logos. It was pretty easy and quick. If you need any more info on this just ask. Michael

  10. I think I picked it up at a Woodcraft store or Rockler store. Michael
  11. I had a problem with my on/off switch and ordered a new online. It would start when I was changing the blade. As I was going through each step in ordering they said instock 3-4 days. So I placed the order. This was in December and I was making 40 ornaments for Christmas and had half of them done. The next day I get an email saying out of stock, part should ship July 10th. So I called and they said that was right. So I sent out an email stating that I had 7 Dewalt products in my shop and if it takes that long for a 5 dollar part (that they could take one off a machine in stock and send it out) I would never purchase another Dewalt product. Two days later it showed up in my mail box. That was 3 years ago and I still wouldn't trade it for anything else. Mick
  12. Dave, I do a few shows every year and everyone is different. Check out some shows and see what is selling and ask questions. Lots of questions. I only do craft show because almost everyone showing up is looking for crafts. At a flea market a few of the people showing up are looking for crafts. It is a good way and a cheaper way to learn about people and how to set up your booth. You should do a dry run before your first show. Make a chect list of everything you need and start putting things in a tote. Money bag, plastic bags. change, business cards, cords, price tags, tape.note book. Keep track of what you sell. I sent you some info. You must get them into your booth before you can sell them anything so the hardest thing is getting them into your booth. Email me if you need any more help. I could go on and on. Michael

  15. Hello I am a newbie to puzzle making. I have done some scroll sawing for years and just started making some photo puzzles and have some questions. How do I seal the photo? Should I seal the puzzle after I cut it? I thank you for your help and any info you provide. Michael
