  1. I have a copyright question. In some of the books that I have been looking at, it explains the copyright. "The patterns contained herein are copyrighted by the authors. Readers may make copies of these patterns for personal use. The patterns themselves, however, are not to be duplicated for resale or distribution under any circumstances. Any such copying is a violation of copyright law" Does that mean that the patterns themselves are copyrighted material and can not be sold or that the items you create using the patterns are copyrighted and can not be sold? I am hoping to sell some of my pieces at some point but I am extremely confused how the copyright applies to the things you create. Thank you all for your help. Brian
  2. Hi Guys, I'm new to the scroll saw and woodworking in general. I wanted to get into thw woodworking hobby for a while now, but didnt know what to focus my attention on. For valentines day, my wife said that she would buy me a scroll saw. We went shopping and found a craftsman 18". So far its a great saw and I have had much success so far. I thought I would step up to the Valentines Challenge and cut one of the pattens posted. I cut the heart with a reverse tooth blade using luann board from Home Depot. Thanks, Brian
