  1. hopefully the test tell you what you need to know
  2. Look at the Pyrography (wood burning) pages on face book they use color pencils and burn the colors in. some of those are absolutely stunning. way beyond any talent I have but wish I could
  3. I can only wish you luck on your journey. A very tough road to go. I also struggle with loosing weight but keep at it every day. Good luck
  4. I like and I have 2 of the greatest mutts rescued of course, one cat. One yellow canary my grand daughter wanted and now a green canary rescued and 2 parrot rescues one yellow orange Connor and one green ring neck. I started doodling the Connor one day and need to dig that back out to finish the pattern. I did some of the dinasor for the grand-kids but those patterns came out of one of the scroll magazine
  5. Fence looks really good. I have used pallets for years in my scrolling projects, Recently took cedar and restored neighbors old radio flyer rails. No longer have the means to get pallets home sadly.
  6. thanks to all for your suggestions. I have a couple of local within 30 miles hardwood sellers but always on the look for that deal. I caught a few off the local buy sell pages on FB, people doing clean outs. Nothing fantastic but every piece of wood helps out with the sawdust habit we have. Hope everyone had a enjoyable Thanksgiving.
  7. Hey Y'all I am in the vacinity of Houston Texas and decided I would like to find small independant mills to deal with. Been thinking about doing this for awhile but have not spent much time searching. I like what I see on Ebay but think the shipping is very prohibeted and there fore want some driving distance resources. If you know of any one in this area I would appreciate hearing form you. Have a great day and keep making saw dust. gunnerb47 Bill
  8. Well done and yep that is where i get my frames yard sale or thrift store. The only place they are affordable anymore
  9. Obsessed Scroller That made me laugh today thanks It really sounds like a politician in the making
  10. Sold it yesterday really cheap just to get it out of the shop. And really need to do more of that so I can move and work again
  11. I have a Craftsman Pro 20" that went poof from the control board over 7 years ago. I briefly tried to find someone that could see if it could be fixed on the cheap without success. Last week I dug it out of the corner and decided to list it as a parts saw. Any one interested in purchase of it or parts off of it let me know. I am going to also list it on craigslist and some of the local sell and swap facebook pages. Just time to clean the place out to either move next year or buy some new toys but first have to make room Just message me and I will get back to you ASAP Thanks
  12. Who's pattern I want to cut that one
  13. OK Amazingscroller you typed in bump on 2 different post now and I just don't get it. So Whats with the bump? An inquiring mind or mindless
  14. Me thinks not. It was 46F yesterday morning and I refused to go out until it is at least 50
  15. Need a bit of advise, I bought another old craftsman oscillating spindle sander this week. The top or deck is really rough shape So I am thinking that I should either laminate it or preferably going to just make a new piece. Question is how do I cut and rout out laminate without tear out or chipping? Is it just a matter of having real good sharp tools or is there a trick to it? Thanks Gunnerb47
