  1. Very nice work SQ, love the effect of the timbers going in the other direction on the top layer. Probably a silly question, but did you do that on a scrollsaw? Brett

I found the Tagua nuts quite easy to cut, they are small but blade cuts them easy I have not tried to dye them myself, but have seen a few websites around that you can order coloured ones from The Rhino was cut from red mallee burl, the clock was made from a burl too, I cant recall what kind it was.

  8. Hi Gingernut, Im going to give your Take Tombo a try and if that goes well I will move onto making a clock. Just a question on how it works, there doesnt seem to be a trigger for it, do you just launch the propeller by turning the number 1 cog? Brett

  14. Hi, I have been scrolling for a number of years now and always learning something new. I mostly do various forms of fretwork designs, whatever catches my eye and have dabbled in a bit of pattern design. I am now starting to do a bit of segmentation work and will post those as they are done, eventually I want to get into Intarsia work. Anyway say Hi if you see me wandering around the Forum Brett
