Thanks for all the 'welcomes' and I will start with our first question ... has anyone worked with 'slate' ... We are surrounded by the stuff!! Apparently, it seeps minerals into the vineyard soil to produce world famous wines, so we have it in abundance here ... just wondered what it would be like to work with (what sort of blade). Hi All, Both new to Scroll Sawing, Rita is the 'artist' I (Mike) am the techie (make tea, sweep floor, cook food etc) ... Both retired young and living in Germany having moved from the UK.
