  1. Well Kevin, this isn't very "Artsy" but it was easiest. If this won't work for you, or you would rather have something different, let me know. I have a couple of other ideas using a hammer or maybe a sword. I gave you two choices of pictures, depending on which style you like to cut.

You are always good about posting a pictures so i don't need to ask :)

  2. If i were to attempt this request i would need a couple of things. First the pictures should be photographed seperately. Make sure you are looking STRAIGHT down on them. This picture was taken at a slight angle. Then post both images. Make sure you are directly above the pictures when you take the shot, that will give the correct perspective. I can change the perspective, but that would require much more work, and with one bigger than the other it will just be much easier if you post two images.

  3. I think you would have much better luck getting a response to this request if you posted a picture you would like turned into a pattern. I wouldn't want to spend hours on a pattern you didn't want. If i was thinking you wanted a team pulling a plow and what you were thinking was a team pulling a corn binder well that would be a waste of our time. lol I am thinking you would like a team hitched to a wagon, but then that is just a guess. Or a sled? or pulling logs? See my point? If you post a picture i'm sure someone will be glad to help you. Maybe the woman that wants the cutting has some ideas as to what she wants.

  4. Nice cutting amazingkevin! And glad to see you giving the patternmaker credit, but i don't think that was a pattern i did. Are you sure it was one i did? I wouldn't want to take credit for someone elses work.

Again, nice cutting, it looks good no matter who made the pattern

  5. hey thanks! That's just the kind of information i was hoping for. I have been trying to keep the dpi at 150 but man that three pixels is way small, ha, even at 150

i was also hoping that five pix was big enough that was what i was trying to use mostly. As a gauge and to make lines. Good.

Thanks for the info, I'll make that a standard practice now.

  6. I have been trying to learn pattern making, I've made a few, but i'm wondering how small the minimum width a bridge should be. I would think that it depends on the material and the skill of the person cutting. Am i right in this? How narrow can i go on the bridges? What makes most people comfortable? Not much point in doing all the work and not having anyone be able to cut them..

    TIA
