I'm back....
Here is my newest portrait that I cut out over the past week.
It took me a total of 4 hrs and 45 minutes to cut out.
It's 14" x 11" and the pattern was designed my Charles Dearing.

"Dream what to cut, Cut what you dream"!!!!
Here is a couple pictures of the 18"Creations cross and 12"Tree of Life cross both designed by Sue Mey.. I used 1/8" Baltic Birch and 1/4" Walnut ply for all of them..
I cut all my stuff out of 1/8" Baltic birch stacked 2 together.. I make 2 of everything..My only thing I can think of is that I cut out all the small cutouts 1st then the bigger ones.. So yeah it took me 45 minutes to cut out the small ones and another 45 for the rest..Easier when only cutting 1/4"..I use a #1ultra reverse usually..I would save the nice wood for the backer...
I cut this out this afternoon.. Sue Mey just sent it out today and I couldn't resist cutting ASAP..It's 11" tall and I am going to use the Walnut as a backer.
I made the hummingbird puzzle out of 1" Aspen so it can be painted by who ever buys it.It's 10" tall and 8" long.
The Walnut box is made out of 1" Walnut and it's ‎3" wide x 7" long and it's not sanded or finished yet.
I made myself cut this cross out today..It's a Sue Mey design.
I cut it out of 1/8" Baltic birch and plan to use 1/4" Walnut for the backer when I finish it..
This is the first cross I have cut out since my surgery..
I finally got to actually sit down at my saw today for about 30 minutes at a time.. And I cut this Sue Mey design cross out..It's 11 inches tall with a piece of black vermica for the backer( had it laying around as scrap in the shop). Felt good to get something with some fret work to cut out.
I am recovering as fast as possible after my surgery..
Axolotl puzzle I cut today out of Poplar. Axolotl is a neotenic salamander, closely related to the Tiger Salamander. Larvae of this species fail to undergo metamorphosis, so the adults remain aquatic..
This plaque is 30" w x 47" tall ..Looks good on the aquarium I think.
It's a combo of 12 plaques together. I am very happy with the results on this one..I should submit a pic to the magazine..What do you think?
I cut this 8 x 10 tray puzzle the other day..It's a type of saltwater Angelfish..
I had my wonderful niece use her creativity to paint it for me...I truly need to keep her going on these she is great compliment and asset to my scrollwork...I might have to submit a couple to the magazines..
