Thank you everyone for your comments. :-)
I didn't get a free cut (she has to make a living too) but I did get a lot of hugs. :-) At one point I thought she was going to cry, then she gave me another hug. Her reaction made it worth the effort of cutting the cross for her.
Yes I want to be able to make a little money so I can afford to buy more wood and supplies and tools so I can keep making sawdust, but somethings you gotta just stop and make something for someone just because. . . . :-) -

Marg,
My sister ordered the angels. She is going to give them to her Great-Grandchildren. I really enjoyed cutting them knowing where they were going. :-)

For any of you who have just recently subscribed CWCM, if you remembered to use a credit card instead of check/debit, dispute your charges with your credit card company ASAP. Credit cards are a layer of protection, for new purchases, that we shouldn't forget about.

Please commenting on which cross you like best. Bear Cross #1 - light over dark or Bear Cross #2 - dark over light.
This is a Sue Mey pattern. I stack cut the bear cross out of 1/8 Baltic birch with a 1/4 backer board. I decided to posted the above on my Face Book page - Scrollin Sawdust as a way to get my friends and their friends to look at my woodwork. So. . . please take a moment and comment which do you like #1 or #2. :-)Thank to those who earlier posted about setting up a face book page. Here is my facebook page I set up. www.facebook.com/scrollinsawdust

I cut BB with the Flying Dutchman blades and they are real good. I get mine from Mike's Workshop. http://mikesworkshop.com/
Mike is really great in helping you choose the best blade for your projects also he has the best price for these blades.
