  1. pegus nr.3 reverse skipp. i sandwiched it between two sheeds of wood, but today i cut 3 records without wood, and its cuts great, just slow down the speed.
  2. Well with luck i guess, but its surprisingly strong.
  3. I use led strip
  4. most i find on pinterest, but i adjust it, so it fits my pattern.
  5. The samoerai one, needed a background fix
  6. no its on the side of the circles, somewhat in the middle. i made a ring/circle thats smaller then the other ones, so the led strip is somewhat hidden. bit hard to explain since iam dutch
  7. Its not shining through, its a photo, i put a led strip between the front en the back, i put 5 pieces of wood between the front and back. So the ledstrip reflects the photo. hard to explain (iam Dutch)
  8. The one with the dog i made for a friend of my Mother whose dog died.
  9. I got it from pinterest, adjusted it a bit, en looked for a wallpaper on internet. i then used a battery operated ledstrip. the square frames are two picture frames glued together. the round ones are stack cut. the patterns (on pinterest or Google) are silhouette, so just type in: cat silhouette for example and you get loads. hope this helps a bit.
  10. i love making these type of lamps? night lights?
  11. Thanks again, yes iam used to high speed and whas pretty comfortable with it, rarely was i struggling with cutting small delicate pieces, i can only get beter if i can control the speed.
  12. thank you all for clearing that up for me.
  13. Hi all, so iam probably buying a new Hegner next year, but my next question is this. My current Hegner is single speed, now iam gonna buy a Hegner with variable speed, but when do you use a slower speed and when a higher speed? Seems to me that when you use slow speed it will be more agressive toward the wood, but i am probably wrong on that. So in what case do you use slow speed?? I never owned a variable speed scrollsaw, so iam tottaly blank on that. Thanks again
  14. oke, i think a stick to Hegner, thanks alot for the feedback and advice

  18. Hi all, my old Hegner saw is retiring soon, (its an oldie, and deserves his retirement) so iam looking for a new saw. should i stick with Hegner, or go for the Pegas? I know both are good, but i need some advice. I like my Hegner, but the Pegas seems to have more options, and its mentioned alot here, so what are the pro's and cons? Thank you
