  5. Yep Dave cut the body cut the horns cut a slot in the head glue the horns drill the eyes stuck a red nose on black marker for mouth and a pipe cleaner for the scarf. simple but effective. Roly

  7. I use 1/4 birchply and use a black cardboard backer from cheapy shops packs of a dozen sheets all colours and they fit in a bought frame with the glass as well. If it's for out side then the craft shop for foam backers A4 SIZE does the same.Roly
  8. What I can't hear you over the noise of the saw.. only kidding the saw is quiet it's the blade through the wood that's noisy . Roly

  10. If the line is big enough to drill a hole and cut a line fine if not the old felt fine tip marker for me then lacquer on top. Roly

  12. Hi Don. It's been changed into a tray extending out over the knees to catch all the bits and dust from landing on you legs and feet and has a raised edge all around which stops any items vibrating onto the floor. Hope that explains it for you. Roly

  15. What size blade you using looks like your struggling to stay on track.?? I would do what Russell suggests and modify the pattern slightly and it's sorted. Roly

  19. No I have a set of tiny chisels bought from a market about twenty years ago all rusty now about 4 to 5 inches long never used them. I would have to buy some proper gear. Roly

  23. Funny you should say that Len you can't see it but the arm for my light/magnifier lamp above the saw has a magnetic strip attached and I stick my used blades for switching sizes to it for easy access. Great minds as they say. Roly

Sam is correct and I use a 5 blade for oak depending on how small the detail work is and sometimes you can just turn the piece quickly and keep moving to do the 90 deg you'll just get the feel for the wood I think and how easy the blades cutting. Practice on scrap until you master it then do the real thing. Practice make perfect better . lol . Roly
