    When I make puzzles I use this stuff from Hobbycraft the pva glue is cheap and I use an old credit card to spread it on and a sponge roller to even out the picture the puzzle conserver isn't cheap and you just sponge it on, it has it's own sponge attached to the bottle which you wash under water when finished works well.     Bob I like that you can make patterns can't have enough of pattern makers I also use Photoshop and Illustrator also Xara Extreme all combined with Inkscape and you guessed it's an Engineering background. Enjoy yourself EX-21 is an excellent choice if you have the cash if not get something cheaper to start with you might not like it. What am I saying once you start your hooked. Roly

    Just so you don't think I have not been thinking about it try this in Inkscape Dick. Type outer text then inner text and on the inner text add a stroke re-size the stroke and add the colour to the stroke and drop the text where you want it. of course thinking of bridges. It's very quick to do and here's an example.
