    Don't worry about it people will see you use it and mine is the same and I put WD40 PTFE spray on it no oil makes it slick. Roly http://www.wd40specialist.com/products/dry-lube/ great on your alloy windows hinges as well.

    Larry any thickness you want and cut the antlers thinner to slot into the head I just hand sawed the slot put the antlers on top draw a line each side and cut inside the line and glue in then drill the eyes and glue on a nose and draw the mouth with a marker pen the scarf is a pipe cleaner. Roly

    Dave I buy 6mm sheets of birchply from Jewsons 8 foot x 4 ft in old imperial size and they will order oak ply and other types. then cut them up. Roly
